I only give them 3 stars because their prices are very high. I have to consider whether I should save gas and pay their prices, or go to a lower-priced option in Danbury or Norwalk.
Otherwise, this is a good store with helpful and friendly staff.

This is one of the best local stores around. They have everything here and what they don't have, they are happy to order for you. Run by very nice people who are happy to help and answer any questions about products or projects. Such a nice change from the big stores where no one seems to care that you are standing there. The quality of their merchandise is excellent and some is backed by the Do it Best lifetime guarantee which they honor without question (save your receipts.) Although some prices may be slightly higher than larger stores, I've found that often, they are the same or cheaper than other stores. If you want the convenience of having a hardware store right around the corner, make sure you give these guys your business. They deserve it.
